This Japanese inspired pattern was made in my typography class. We had to choose a theme and have multiple words associated with that theme to add in multiple fonts. After adding in some visuals and illustrations, then I bring the design into Photoshop and duplicate some of the content to make it into a repeating pattern!
This next pattern was made in my illustration class and what makes it different from the other pattern above is that its illustration heavy (no text). It was drawn out on paper before being scanned and edited in Photoshop. The same process as the other pattern, some of the elements were duplicated in order to be made into a repeating pattern. For this assignment, we had to go off a word that was assigned to us and my word was 'Cozy'.
